memories

When I was little my Mother made matching playsuits for my sister and I to wear while on vacation.

What I remember when looking back at old pictures.  We had a different one for each day of our vacation (over two weeks!). My Mother was proud of her “Emilia” creations, and I’ll admit we did look pretty cute.  If I had to sum up why we were subjected to the matching playsuits, see below.

1) Easy identity, in spotting my sister and I, in crowds

2) Economical, as in when my sister grew out of hers, no need to worry mine were waiting for her to wear.

3) Durable, and easy dressing. All of ours had zippers, so it was just zip up and we were good to go.

4) Pack friendly, do you realize how many sleeveless, short playsuits you can rollup and fit in a suitcase?

It was one of our best summer vacations, playsuits and all.
