I have not posted for a while, as we were caring for our Dalmatian, Snowy.  who passed away on Tuesday.

We adopted her from our local animal shelter, she was 9 months old, deaf and it appears she was a product of a backyard breeding mill. Once we laid our eyes on her, we knew she was ours. It was a bit of a challenge with her at first, we worked with a trainer, we developed signs that we used to comunicate with her, and treats were always a great motivator for her.  We felt it was our duty to give her the best life she could have, and to help her forget the first 9 months of hers. All of our pets have been adopted from the humane society, and we not have it any other way.

With the recent times and hardships, there are more and more animals that need caring and loving homes for their lifetime. Snowy was so special to us and she will be dearly missed. If you find it in your heart and can, please adopt, or support your local humane society by volunteering or giving a donation.
