Cynthia Rowley Spring 2011
Once a month I will focus on a fashion designer(s) Like many of you, there are many designers that I love, and it seems that every day I discover someone new. I hope that you can join me in appreciation, insight, and admiration of these creative designers who become part of our life. I look forward to your comments!
Cynthia Rowley has been a player in the fashion world since the early 80’s. Besides designing, she co-authored the “Swell” book series, and a line of housewares for Target. She also has fragrances, cosmetics and a menswear line. Word on the street is that she will redesign the uniforms for United Airlines, ah, flying in style.
I always find her collections to be flirty, girly, a bit preppy and retro. I love her use of color, the mixture of texture and embellishment. I hope you enjoy.
