My husband parents are from Tralee, Ireland, they like many others moved to the United Kingdom in pursuit of better opportunities. He still has family in Ireland, and we try to go back as often as possible. I always look forward to the journey there.

His family home is located in a small village that is a far distance from any large city. When we go I always feel removed from modernization, and it is a nice change. I find myself  mesmerized by how peaceful, quaint, quiet  and beautiful it is there. In honor of Saint Patrick’s day I thought I would share a few of my favorites.

The vast land and sky.

Seeing the beauty of it all.
