As my hubby and I are in two different states, literally. He in the deep south, and I up north in the city that never sleeps. I was so happy to fly down for Thanksgiving, it was a short trip, and I can’t wait to see him again next month. I did learn never take a 6:00 am flight. I had to be picked up at 2:50 am by the Super Shuttle, as I would never go on a subway at that time in the morning. Note to self: next time take a later flight, when I arrived in Florida I was wiped out  from lack of sleep, I couldn’t keep my eyes open, so that negated the whole day, Argh.

When I got home, my puppy still recognized me and seem sincerely happy to see me, (where those whines of joy or “OMG what is she doing here?” I’ll take joy.) My cats were their usual, they came up to me like they wanted to be petted and then turned away. After a therapeutic day of cleaning, the house looked fabulous.

I was able to have a short and sweet Pre-Thanksgiving dinner with my Sister, Kids and God Son, it was so precious. Plus a quickie get together with my friends even though it was kind of interesting, but fun. And then most importantly, time with my hubby. I miss you!!! and can’t wait for us to be together 24/7, in the same home.

One night over dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant, we talked about how we are doing, and during the conversation my hubby said. “You need to get out more”. I was caught a bit off guard, but I knew exactly what he was talking about. Even though I am here in NYC, I haven’t really explored it as much as I should, I believe that is because I feel this is something we should be doing together, and if he is not here, then I should hold off till he is here. I do go out, every now and then, but this is generally my routine. Go to work, work on getting a good work out regimen sorted, go home, eat dinner, watch TV, and usually I’ll doze off. OMG! now that I read this, just add a dozen cats and I am one of those kind of women!

I realize, he is right. I should go out more often, so when he comes to NYC, I can show him the goods this amazing city has to offer. So I decided that I will be sharing these “experiences without you” (my hubby), with you all.

Therefore my hubby can read my posts of what I have experienced, of which I cannot wait to share with him when we are all together.
